My tablet just came in today! I'm so excited! I just can't wait to install it and start drawing! I can't believe I paid around $280 for it. Oh well, I hear that it's worth it. I'm planning on getting a print account later, so maybe I can make a little bit of money off of that. I'm in SERIOUS need of money right now, considering that I spent a lot of it on Christmas shopping and books for college.

Anyways if anyone has any tips on how to use a tablet (WACOM Intuos 3), I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Yesterday night before I went to bed, I noticed that I only needed 3 more pageviews before I hit the milestone 1000 pageviews! I stayed up a bit just waiting for those 3 pageviews, but then I got tired, and by the next morning I already had 1000+ pageviews. This is definately one for the books, so I guess that means I have to draw something to comemorate this momentous occassion! I really have so much to do now... Let's see...

1. Draw prize sketch for
2. Finish drawing contest entry, Winter, for
3. Draw 1000+ pageviews deviation
4. Write the next chapter to Fragile Heart
5. Draw entry for 's ID Contest

All of this done before Christmas... I'm going to die...

Um... I guess I'm subscribed for a week, and it's free too! I have to admit though I love all the little extra things that they have, but it's too bad I don't have enough money to buy a full year membership or something.

*sigh* I'm such a poor college student.

Anyways, my uncle informs me that I probably have to take my baby (aka laptop) to a IT in my school to get it fixed... and I might have to pay them a load of money to fix it...

Stupid spam... stupid viruses...

Other than that, I'm happy to announce that I'm done with the line art of my current project. I think I'm going to submit it to another one of 's contests (Winter). I don't know, but we'll see. The piece is tenatively titled "Stay with Me."

I also have to work on 's prize for winning one of 's contests. I've already brainstormed some ideas, so I just have to put it on paper. This will be the first time I've drawn something for someone as a prize. I hope she likes it.

I can't believe it was snowing today, and it's not even past Thanksgiving yet! Boston really has some strange weather.

Anyways due to the snow, I have been inspired to make a wallpaper with a snow theme (and Sess/Rin too of course)! It's going to be my first drama piece, and not just a "that-looks-nice" piece, like the ones I've done before. I'm not even done with the line art yet, but it's coming along nicely.

The only reason I haven't finished with it is because I'm reading a manga called Tokyo Crazy Paradise, which a friend had recommended. It's pretty long, but it's very interesting too. My eyes are somewhat hurting from staring at the computer for so long.

Speaking about computers, I think I'll have my baby (aka laptop) back soon. It crashed a while ago...

To be honest, I didn't even know that I can actually put a journal entry here...

I'm a second year college student heading towards a Biochemistry and English major. So... why the heck am I here drawing fanart? Well, I suppose I simply have many interests. I'm actually fairly new with Photoshop, and I really don't think I can do as much with it as other people half my age, but I'm getting used to it. Everything I learned from using Photoshop was through tutorials and trial-and-error. I haven't taken any real formal course in it. I'm also planning on creating my own website out of scratch from the pictures I draw. I plan to put some of my fanfiction and art work on this website. I suppose I should post some of my fanfics here too... I usually go to Fanfiction.Net to post my stories (usually Sess/Rin romance related -- I only have one Hikaru no Go story there). Go check it out if you want. My penname is the same there as it is here.
